Reed Diffuser FAQs
How do you use a reed diffuser?
- When you receive your reed diffuser unscrew the lid and carefully remove the plastic stopper and place the reeds in the solution. The reeds will absorb the oil and naturally diffuse the fragrance. Flip the reeds every few days to refresh the scent.
How long do reed diffusers last?
- 100ml reed diffusers can last about 3 months depending on the location of the reed diffuser. Things like air conditioners, heaters, direct sunlight, heat and room size can shorten the reed diffuser solution lifespan and/or affect the strength of the fragrance aroma.
Are reed diffusers environmentally safe?
- Yes, they are environmentally safe, long lasting and a safe way to fragrance a room.
What do I do if the fragrance from the reed diffuser is too strong?
- The reed diffusers come with a pack of 10 reeds, try removing a couple to see if that softens the aromatic of the fragrance. Fragrances may be stronger in small rooms compared to larger rooms.
My reed diffuser doesn’t smell as strong as it did when I first got it?
- The reeds are designed to absorb the fragrance and diffuser it into the air. Turning the reeds over every few days refreshes the aroma. Depending on where the reed diffuser is located and how long you have been using the reed diffuser for, you can lightly swirl the bottle to make sure there is uniformity between the reed diffuser base and fragrance oil.
What is the reed diffuser solution?
- The reed diffuser solution is a mix of 80% reef diffuser base and 20% fragrance oil. The diffuser base is an eco-solvent derived from plant feedstock and it does not contain volatile organic compounds.
Can I re-use my reed diffuser reeds?
- It is not recommended to reuse the reeds when changing fragrances as it can result in an unpleasant aroma and over time the reeds can become clogged with dust.
